Despite being an international business directory Companysites.info is no only aimed to companies doing international business. Even if you have a very small business you can be interested in searching for customers or a providers in a city just few miles away from yours. We think local business is very important, so we included all world cities in our directory (data provided by Maxmind), and made some business categories for all of them.
We don't forget regional, national or international business, of course!
Can I search for a product or trade lead?You can search our website by business category or geographically (country, region, city), but we don't have created an specific way for product searching.
Don't worry! Companies will post their products in their websites, and Google will index them, so you can type the product you are searching in the Google search box at the left hand menu, and it will show you all registered companies including that word. Anyway google doesn't index all pages immediatelly, so it could take several days since a company introduces information until you can find it using our search box.
I have a small local business. Can I write it in my local language instead of english?Spanish speaking companies can visit Centropyme.info
This is an international business directory, so you should write in english. Maybe in the future we set up a regional version of this website in your language.

We have found that in cities with local language (i.e.: In Andorra they can speak catalan, spanish and french) the same city can be listed as many times as languages spoken in the area.
Why I cannot introduce links or images using HTML code?We are a free open service, and anyone could register for free. We want to avoid people registering and linking to delictive websites. This way we can have some control of what is published in our website..
I have an "only for adults" business. Can I register it?While it is a legal business you can, but you are not allowed to upload explicit pictures or enter explicit text that could upset our visitors. So, as an example, you are allowed to say "A good place to stay in good company", but you cannot say "The best sex of the world". We also don't give support to internet based companies showing explicit sex in their websites.
Who is behind Companysites.info?My name is Emilio González and I live in Spain. My job is being agent of pvc coated and laminated fabrics and accesories in Spain, but after many years experience programming as a hobby a database-driven science website named Astroseti.org where a team of volunteers do science english-to-spanish translations and post them, I decided to develope some new ideas. Basically the volunteers publish all the contents the same way you are going to publish the information of your company, a very easy system for people who don't know programming languages (let's say a system for dummies).
I have other internet projects running like ayuntaweb.info offering free website to all spanish countries town halls, specially interesting for small cities (some as small as 20 inhabitants!) with few resources.
Probably I'm never going to be rich offering free services, but if you enjoy the system and find it useful I will be quite proud of the hours I've spent at the keyboard!
